Justice Fair
We have been studying what biblical justice looks like in our current series "The Justice Thread". We wanted to give you an opportunity to meet organizations that are working on behalf of those needing justice. On May 19, come meet these organizations on the patio to hear more about them and to see how you may get involved. Some of the ministries that will be here are Kid's Club, Foster the City, and Catholic Charities immigrant services.
Milpitas Food Pantry Collection
While the Milpitas Food Pantry typically gets more food donations around holidays, the times in between can lead to emptier shelves. Because of the diversity of their clients, they are in special need of non-traditional items, like soy sauce, spices, rice in 1 or 2 lb. bags, coconut milk, canned salmon, and rice noodles, for example. Other more traditional items they always welcome are canned fruit, Pasta sauce, Pasta noodles, Oatmeal, Jelly, Canned or dried beans, and Lentils. There will be food collection barrels in the lobby from May 19th - June 9th.

You and God! Improving your holy relationship
The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Galatians 5)
How much of those wonderful states do you have in your typical day? Do you want more?

This workshop will focus on better understanding the ‘hiding heart’ challenge that we each have, our personal, individual, relationship with our living God, His specific instructions to each of us, and being more effective in prayer. Numerous private prayer times are included, with each one following teaching and discussion about a specific, common, spiritual challenge area.
You will leave the workshop with some specific tools to help you continue this growth process.

Blue Christmas
For some, Christmas cheer and decorations do not resonate with them. Christmas may bring to mind a tragic event that happened during the Christmas season: the grief of a loved one who is not around to share the season with, current suffering that they are experiencing, or other loss.
A Blue Christmas is a Christmas service filled with the hope and promise of Christ’s birth, but with an acknowledgment that we may be sad because of events around us. We can acknowledge both the promise of Jesus’ birth and how we feel. We hear the promise of Jesus, worship him through the singing of hymns, and hear the testimony of others who have met their challenges through their faith in Jesus. Come and offer our burdens to Jesus, who will give us hope and peace.
