Alpha Course
Come January of 2025, C3 will be expanding its Alpha footprint. We will be running concurrently the regular Alpha Series as well as an Alpha for Youth and Alpha for Mandarin speakers. The start date for all Alphas is Thursday, Jan 16, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Dinner will be provided by the church. This is an opportunity to learn more about Jesus, the basics of the Christian faith, as well as get to meet people to form friendships over dinner and discussion time.

Lunar New Year Night Market
C3 Mandarin ministry is launching and we would like to invite everyone to celebrate Lunar New Year with us on January 26th! After church service, we will be hosting a 'night market' event. We wanted to create a 'night market' experience for everyone with booths of food, games, and crafts. Contrary to the name, this will not take place at night, and the event is free for everyone! So please join us as we celebrate both the launch of Mandarin ministries and Lunar New Year after church on January 26!

The Trinity: Is it Biblical? Some people have wondered whether this teaching is really in the Bible, or was it just made up? Many Christians are unsure what to believe. We invite you to join us in this four-week class. We will carefully examine various Scriptures on this topic. We anticipate learning a lot about God, why we believe Him to be Three-in-One and what each of the Three lovingly contributes to our Christian lives. We think you’ll be strengthened and encouraged. Join Don Etten as he leads us through this essential topic.
Parenting Book Club
Parents, we invite you to join us on Sundays after church, from February 2 through March 30, in the C3 Kids room upstairs. Each week, we'll watch a short video, discuss key parenting topics, and connect with other parents.

C3 Men's Refresh
C3 Men! Join us for our first C3 Men’s Refresh on Saturday, February 8, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Chapel.
Start the day with coffee and donuts, followed by a teaching by Jeremy Howard, breakout discussions, and a panel featuring men from various life stages. Together, we’ll explore:

Latino Christmas Celebration
Did you know that Latin Americans celebrate Christmas on December 24th and open their presents at midnight? Come for a Latino Christmas celebration and learn about how different countries have different Christmas traditions. Please bring your favorite dish to share at this All-Church potluck. If you have a favorite Hispanic dish, please bring it. We will have some Hispanic music, food, and more for you to sample. Prior to service on Sunday, December 8, please bring your dish to the roll-up counter at the kitchen and indicate if you need to keep your dish warm, refrigerated, or at room temperature.
Pancakes and Pajamas

Families! Join us for a morning of pancakes and crafts. Enjoy an amazing musical performed by our C3 Kids Drama team!
They will be performing Angels Say What! Follow the angels as they deliver the good news to Mary, Joseph, and the Shepherds. Listen as they reflect on what it means to be part of the greatest story ever told!

C3 Men's Pancakes and Pajamas Cooking Crew
C3 Men!
The Pancake and Pajamas event on Dec 7 needs cooks and food servers! Come and be part the cooking crew! This will be a great time of fellowship with other guys while supporting the Pancake and Pajamas event.
We will assemble at 7:00 am in the church kitchen and break into teams. We’ll then start cooking and serving. We will finish with kitchen cleanup.

Golden Saints Service Project
Golden Saints – come help serve the needy - Thursday, December 5, 9:00-11:30am. We will help pack and give out lunch bags for Front Door Communities, located downtown at Trinity Cathedral Church in San Jose on 2nd Street. For carpools, meet at church at 8:20am. Parenting with Love & Respect ZOOM Workshop

Partnership Class
Ready to increase your commitment to C3? When we are baptized, we commit ourselves to faith in Jesus Christ, and we become members of the Church universal. When we become Covenant Partners (members) we commit ourselves to C3, the local church in Milpitas. Explore what it means to become baptized, and become a Partner of C3, by attending this 4-hour class. It will be after the Sunday Service from 11:30-4:00 on October 27 in the Redwood Conference Room. Lunch will be provided.
There will also be a luncheon with Session on November 10th after church. At the end of the class, participants will be eligible to apply for baptism and/or to become Covenant Partners at C3.

international justice mission (IJM) Local Prayer gathering
Join International Justice Mission for an evening of prayer on Tuesday, October 15 at 7pm to 8:30pm at C3. Learn about the reality of modern-day slavery in the Philippines from IJM’s National Director of the Philippines and hear a survivor share her powerful story.
Coat Drive for Kids Club and CityTeam
Kids Club New Coat and Hooded Sweatshirt Drive coupled with CityTeam Men’s and Childrens warm clothes Drive.
Were you aware that some families don’t have appropriate winter attire? We have been made aware of the need to provide NEW coats and zip-up hooded sweatshirts (hoodies) for Rose and Randall Elementary school students.
Drop off new or gently used light winter coats or hoodies, children’s sizes 6 to 16 or adult small and medium, in the bins provided in the Welcome Center between October 13th and 27th.
City Team has also put out a plea and is constantly in need of Men's and children's clothing in good condition, especially warm clothing as the season changes.
We will collect the coats, hoodies and clothing and deliver them to the schools and City Team before Thanksgiving. Thank you for your compassion and service to the community.

Help brighten a child's holiday! Donate new, unwrapped toys at the Welcome Center collection bins. Running concurrently with our coat drive, this CityTeam initiative supports local families in need.

Children with special needs (development ages from 0-12 years old) and their siblings are invited to join us for an afternoon of FUN! Please Pre-Register by September 22nd. Volunteers 14+ are needed to be a buddy to a child at the event, share some talent for entertainment, plan some simple recreational games or help with set up or clean up for the event! We will also have a quick parent meeting to share what we have going on in the fall!
We will BBQ hot dogs, burgers, and veggie burgers and have ice cream for dessert. Please bring a side dish to share!
