It hurts to lose someone you love. This loss can lead to confusion where you may feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. In response, C3 Milpitas will once again offer GriefShare to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.

The C3 Milpitas GriefShare support group meets weekly at Sequoia room on Zoom (online)

It is a fantastic chance to share a meal, connect with one another, and then put our faith into action right here in our community.

Here's how you can be a part of it:
1. Potluck Lunch!

• When: Sunday, May 3rd, immediately following our worship service.

• Where: Social Hall

• What to Bring: Your favorite potluck dish ready to serve! Whether it's a family recipe, a savory casserole, a fresh salad, or a delightful dessert, all contributions are welcome and will add to the feast! The church will provide rice, beans, salad and bread.

2. Service Opportunities!

After we eat, we will transition into impactful serving groups. This is where we truly embody "A Church in Action," extending love and support beyond our walls. Please prayerfully consider where you'd like to serve:

• Men's Hangout at CityTeam: Come enjoy some ice cream as you visit, play games and pray with the men who are in the recovery program.

• Kolkata Mission Trip Info Meeting: Come learn more about our mission trip to Kolkata, India!

• Compassion Sunday: Help sponsor children in need!

• Milpitas Food Pantry Collection: While the Milpitas Food Pantry typically gets more food donations around holidays, the times in between can lead to emptier shelves. Because of the diversity of their clients, they are in special need of non-traditional items like soy sauce, spices, rice in 1 or 2 lb. bags, coconut milk, canned salmon, and rice noodles, for example. Other more traditional items they always welcome are canned fruit, pasta sauce, pasta noodles, oatmeal, jelly, canned or dried beans, and lentils.

• Homebound Visits: Our team will be visiting those who are homebound. Let's show the love of Jesus by showing support toward those that are unable to physically go to church!

We have a special opportunity to put our faith into action alongside our friends at Love Never Fails. We are invited to join the Freedom Mile, a family-friendly walk dedicated to raising awareness and providing vital support for survivors of human trafficking.

As a church, we are called to seek justice and stand with the vulnerable. This event is a beautiful way for us to "do justly and love mercy" as we walk together for a powerful cause.

Ladies!

Women’s Ministry invites you to a Pancakes and Praise event on Saturday, May 9th , from 11am to 1pm in the C3 Social Hall. Come for a variety of pancakes and other goodies. Please bring a favorite or encouraging Bible verse to share with your table. We will be sharing food and fellowship with other women and singing and sharing praises to our Almighty God. Bring your mother, sister, daughter, cousins, friends, neighbors! Come join us!

Finishing Well: Advance Care Planning for anyone with serious medical needs, those receiving care, and caregivers. Give yourself and your family a gift by planning now. We will walk you through navigating medical needs and planning for any age. Materials will include a Care Planning workbook, optional Caregiver workbook, and Personal Wishes Celebration of Life form. Advance Healthcare Directives and POLST will be available. We want to encourage and support you to ensure your wishes will be known and carried out.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Join us for a week of Bible stories, music, games, crafts, and unforgettable moments as we grow in God's love!

Sports Camp
June 22-26 | 9:00 AM - 12:15 PM
For kids 4 years old – 6th grade grads
A high-energy week of sports, teamwork, and faith-building fun! No matter your skill level, there’s a place for you.

Day Camp
July 6-10 | 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
For 3rd – 6th grade grads
A full-day adventure with lessons, field trips, and service opportunities—building faith, friendships, and leadership!
