If you’re like most Christians, you’re probably more familiar with the New Testament than the Old Testament. You may have often thought: “I just can’t seem to wrap my mind around what’s going on in the Old Testament. It’s full of confusing history, and it must not be too important since Jesus isn’t there.” But what if you were told that Christ is actually present in those Scriptures the whole time? In fact, the prophets of old spent a lot of time foretelling the arrival of the Messiah. Therefore, as Christians, reading the Old Testament should be exciting! Over the course of five sessions, we will be diving into God’s word to explore how the Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth, was foretold centuries before the events of the Gospels. If you’ve ever felt confused or intimidated by the Old Testament, this is the class for you! We invite you to come along with us on this journey after church on Sundays from April 16th - May 21st (excluding Mother’s Day, May 14th)!
